Karunyasparsam is the dedicated charity initiative of AKITDA Kollam, created with the vision of extending care and support to individuals and families in need. The programme was launched to ensure that the association contributes not only to the IT industry but also to the well-being of society.

The initiative focuses on helping poor and financially struggling individuals, especially those facing severe illnesses and medical emergencies. Through coordinated efforts, Karunyasparsam provides financial assistance, medicine support, and other essential aid to affected members within the association as well as individuals from the wider community.

During times of major crises, Karunyasparsam has played a vital role in relief activities. In the Kerala floods, the programme organized quick response teams and contributed essential materials to affected regions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, support was extended to families suffering from loss of income, medical requirements, and quarantine hardships. The programme also extended support during the Wayanad disaster with relief materials and financial aid.

Karunyasparsam continues to grow as a symbol of compassion and solidarity within AKITDA Kollam. By standing beside the needy—inside and outside the organization—we aim to uphold the values of humanity, empathy, and community welfare.
